Slather

The Slather 3D case study was a Darkroom x Sick Dog Wolf Man collaboration. A project with a lot of attitude - this case study was about bringing all the mean, sinister energy of a sun that’s going to roast you alive into the personality of the renders, lighting and material dev.

A jet black word mark with pointed, sharp highlights to cut through it like a slasher movie, contrast for days, scorching palettes and long shadows. It was a lot of fun to be able to use lighting for a product focussed on the sun and push it to it’s limits.
