Skvart Rose

This is a so far unreleased project. It was initially developed after an artist made contact to produce a series of images to accompany the release of an album. They put me in touch with a photographer (Instagram: draapfoot) who they wanted me to collaborate with. He sent me a these beautiful photographs. The brief was wide open beyond somehow including these photo’s.

I spoke a lot with the artist about the themes of his album and came to an idea about having these creatures lurking inside of the scenes like ghosts sort of creating some surreal journey through a nightmarish environment that feels somewhat removed or parallel to our own. Somewhere in which maybe the general laws of science and logic don’t always apply.
